Soil

Paddy is more compatible with black soil.

Sowing

Firstly, take rice seeds and soak in the water for 24 hours. After 24 hours drain off the water, cover seeds with a wet cloth and sprinkle water regularly till seeds get germinated. Now, sprinkle germinated seeds evenly on the land. Make sure that the water level must be above the soil surface level while sowing the seeds. The next following day, once the seeds get stick to the surface, make sure to let the water goes out of the land.

Seedling

Seedlings are ready for transplantation after 25 days of sowing. Arrange seedlings in a line by leaving at-least 4 inches of gap between one seedling to other on field.

Weeding

First weeding should be done after 15 days of transplantation and second weeding after 30-40 days of first weeding.

Irrigation

Water supply should be continuous for plant growth.

Fertilizers

DAP(contains both nitrogen & phosphorus) and Potassium, add 50-75 kilos of DAP and 50 kilos of potassium for 1 acre of land.

Harvesting

After 100-120 days, crop is ready for harvesting.

GROUNDNUT

Climate

Soil

Red soil or sand goes well for groundnut crops.

Sowing

Level up the soil evenly. Sow the seeds by leaving 6 inches of gap between each seed and with a depth of 5 centimeters into the soil.

Weeding

After 15 days of sowing, remove weeds from the field.

Irrigation

Water should be supplied for every 15 days.

Fertilizers

DAP(contains both nitrogen & phosphorus) and Potassium, add 50-75 kilos of DAP and 50 kilos of potassium for 1 acre of land.

Harvesting

After 90 days of sowing, the crop will get ready for harvesting.
