WHY AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION IS IMPORTANT

Most of the people are excited and more curious knowing about the food they eat in their daily life. Indeed improving the connection people have with food develops a healthy relation which in turn improves the overall health and the way people eat. This helps in better understanding of environmental impact and make healthier choices of food.

Agriculture produce many raw materials and food that need for human to survive. Having knowledge on at least few items which we see in our daily life helps to survive in crisis like covid. Rather than going to market, planting in homes helps in getting more healthy and quality items.

Vegetables and fruits are rich sources of minerals, vitamins and other compounds that helps body to function properly. Basic idea on vegetables and fruits allows to follow healthy diet. A well-balanced diet supports to maintain healthy body weight, avoid risk of diseases, boosts immunity, strength muscles & bones, provides energy and nutrients for a better growth.

Understanding on how farming process be and how a farmer should struggle to cultivate single crop indeed helps in avoiding as much as food wastage and having more sustainable consumption. This is more likely to favor a ecological consumption of food to support the products that are good for planet.

As population is growing globally, there are more people who rely on food. Instead of working in some agricultural industries, cultivating and investing on your own land helps in becoming more beneficial and mostly being in nature is again good for health too.
